This might be one of my favorite ideas for 2025! If you've followed me since my YouTube days, you know how much I loved my Erin Condren teacher planner. It let me organize everything into clear sections that helped my brain stay focused, with dedicated spaces for Important, administrative tasks, design work, social media, and personal items. This setup made it easy to sort proactive and reactive tasks and time-block my day. I kept that approach in mind when creating this kit, choosing all the sections I think you’ll find most helpful. If I missed anything, just order a custom script sticker in F17 and add it to one of the empty labels!
Now, let's dive in. Scroll down after the sheet photos to see how I laid out this kit in multiple planners, because I know how visual we all are! ;-)
Instead of using a weekly glance kit in my daily duo (sneak peek coming soon!), I used the freestyle kit. I still get my week-at-a-glance on the left side of the right page, while the right side can hold everything else: brain dump, gratitude, self-care, school events, spirituality, and even a “next week” section. There’s also plenty of room for tracking larger tasks on the left page, like my favorite “squirrel” script—where I jot down all the extra ideas that pop up while working on something else. This keeps me from actually getting sidetracked!
You all know I love a good bullet journal, and while I don’t have time to keep up with an elaborate one anymore, I still enjoy playing around with this style.
The next layout I tried was on the monthly dashboard in my Hobonichi Cousin. This kit doesn’t need to be weekly—you could absolutely use it monthly to stay grounded with gratitude, projects, reminders, and more. It’s perfect for those Erin Condren dashboards that often end up blank (calling myself out here!).
Finally, I tested it in a horizontal Amplify Planner. If you’re still looking for a planner for next year, I highly recommend Amplify; it combines monthly, weekly, and daily layouts in one quarterly book. The horizontal layout allowed me to dedicate the whole right side to "to do's" by laying down just a few stickers. Now it's all compartmentalized and organized and I'm ready to start the week!
I hope this gives you some inspiration on how to incorporate the freestyle kit into your own planning rotation. I can’t wait to see how you all use it!
