Hi! Melanie here—founder, sticker lover, and the human behind Orange Umbrella Co.

If you’re curious how all this started, grab a drink and get comfy. I launched Orange Umbrella Co. in late 2013 (though I’ve been selling online since way back in 2003!).

My original vision was to create high-quality handmade paper goods for life’s special events—but it didn’t take long for the planner obsession to sneak in. Once we added stickers to the shop… well, let’s just say we never looked back.

These days, stickers are our favorite thing to make, hands down. 🧡

Since 2016, we’ve operated out of a super cool old EMT building that looks a little like a firehouse. It’s got character, charm, and shelves full of sticker sheets. We’re open Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm EST—and local customers are always welcome to schedule a pickup appointment.

Meet the Team!

Louann
Our go-to packing pro and listing helper! Louann has been part of the OUC crew for 8 years and makes sure your planner orders get out the door quickly and carefully (with just the right amount of washi magic).

Ashley
Ashley has been part of OUC for 9 years and knows this sticker shop inside and out. She designs all of our kits, creates listing photos, and helps manage the shop’s ever-growing collection of sticker goodness. If you’ve ever loved a colorway or layout—she probably had something to do with it.

Jason
Also known as “Mr. OUC.” Jason handles shop maintenance, lifts heavy things we don’t want to deal with, and bravely battles the bugs. (Ashley is terrified of spiders. And crickets. And basically anything that moves. Jason’s earned hero status more than once.)

Spazz
Spazz is our shop cat, official mascot, and queen of side-eye. She supervises production while doing absolutely nothing, but judging everything, occasionally sniffs your outgoing package for good luck, and maybe even approves your color choices. 🐾

We’re a small-but-mighty team making planner supplies with heart, humor, and a whole lot of stickers. Thanks for being here—we think you’re going to love it.
